Fantastic embroidered sleeves! This dress is very unusual.
It is cut very simply {almost straight up and down} with little capped sleeves of emroidery.
It is an extra large size, however it drapes beautifully and would make a lovely nightgown on anyone.
Also, it could be worn with a belt as a dress.
The satin is heavy and strong as is the embroidered part.
Condition is not good. There are some 'historical' mends, most notable on the front {see photo 5}. Some stains around the bottom of the dress.
However it still has a lot to give and is very strong.
